Colorful and energetic, yet hulking with mass and escaping the boundaries of the page, this tree is the definition of bulky in a small size piece. Upon closer inspection, the dozens of colors mixed into the bulging bark make this piece one that will hold your attention.

Teeth

SOLD

This chair is a real, antique chair from from the Queen Victoria Monument Kolkata, India and is made from ivory, or elephant teeth. (Of course we know better of using ivory for things today, but I can’t help but love the gruesome beauty of this chair.. fitting for the spooky season and the prompt of ‘teeth’.) and I think the tree gnawed on in this way is typically invokes the thought of beavers and their powerful teeth. All in all I really liked how this prompt came out.
